The Council is dedicated to strengthening its role as a reliable, independent hub for planning and analysis in regional power planning as well as fish and wildlife protection, mitigation, and enhancement. In our work, we seek to engage broadly throughout the region, actively seeking the contribution and participation of tribes and other diverse communities in the Council’s programs and planning.
We embrace a diverse workforce and an inclusive, respectful workplace as the foundation of a strong, resilient organization that is well-equipped to serve the region now and in the years ahead. We acknowledge the personal and systemic work necessary to overcome barriers, understand bias, and examine power structures to ensure that all employees have a sense of belonging and understand that their contributions are valued. We are committed to attracting, retaining, and promoting individuals from a variety of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, including of any race, color, sex, national origin, ethnicity, culture, religion, gender, gender identity (including gender expression), sexual orientation, marital status, age, disability, military or veteran status, and any other protected status.
Collectively, we aspire to embrace our diversity, respecting and appreciating the differences among us, while we learn and grow together.
