Summary
This is the ISRP’s preliminary review of the United States Army Corps of Engineers’ Bonneville Decision Document Juvenile Fish Passage Recommendation October 2001 (draft for ISRP Review). The Corps of Engineers and other interested parties will have until January 31, 2002 to address the ISRP questions and concerns. The ISRP will consider the responses and issue a final report by February 22, 2002.
This report is part of the ISRP review of the “reimbursable” projects of the Corps of Engineers. The “reimbursable” review was created by the U.S. Congress’ Senate-House conference report on the Fiscal Year 1999 Energy and Water Development Appropriations bill, which directed the ISRP to review all fish and wildlife projects, programs, or measures that are included in federal agency budgets and reimbursed by the Bonneville Power Administration.
